Give Thanks – Flourishes Beautiful World Tour…

Somehow, October has landed on us, and it’s time for another Flourishes Beautiful World Tour! Usually I am sort of sad when the autumn weather hits, but this year we’ve had such a wonderful, long summer, and mild winter, I am actually really enjoying it.

This month, we are hosted by the amazing Dina, who has challenged us to create to something monochromatic. More times than not, this inspires me to create an all-white card, so I thought it was time to do something different.

Since we’re heading into Canadian Thanksgiving, I was inspired to create something fall-themed, and thankful. 

I used the newer Autumn Blessings set for my card, stamped it in brown ink, and took it from there, keeping things pretty neutral.

Lots of earth tones to keep things fairly monochromatic. I realize I took some creative license with the monochrome theme, but I still say it passes! I kept my colouring fairly loose, inspired by Chupa’s card from last month’s hop. Some shimmer spray splattered over the card finished it off for me.
