Happy Friday, dear friends!
Normally, I’d show you some Christmassy goodies on a Friday, but today is the Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz! I haven’t been able to play along for way too long, so I am excited I found time to make something for today’s party!
This month, the theme of our Waltz is Birthdays… perfect excuse to add another birthday card to my stash!
I got my new Big Berries: Strawberry set the other day, so I thought this was a pretty good reason to get it inky! Plus, I had the perfect Crate Paper patterned sheet to go with it… it seemed like it was meant to happen, right?
The strawberries are huge – and SO cute. I just cut them out by hand (really easy for this fussy-cutter-hater), and layered them up on foam dots… I thought they accented the strawberry pattern on the Crate Paper goodies perfectly!
I won’t keep you, since you have lots of hopping to do! Thanks so much for peeking in on me, and have a great weekend! I’ll be enjoying the Ballerina Birthday Party (yep, it’s a title now, apparently; Emma said so!), then a trip to the antique carousel that Emma chose to visit for her birthday on Sunday… It’s a busy one, but she is so excited, so I am too! I took her birthday portraits today… here’s a tease for you:

August 19, 2012 2:10 amSo cute – both your girl and the card. That card is really stunner tho – with the beautiful trim and delicious paper. I know what you mean about not playing along for a while – it's that nagging feeling that something is missing, including the fact that i don't get to stop by some "oldie but goodie wms friends" glad you're along this one! 🙂
